Chris Condel

Chris is originally from Olyphant, where he began his musical journey as a toddler banging a toy drum from a petting zoo and oatmeal containers in the shopping cart in the grocery store. He took up the saxophone when he was 8, and hated it. He thought his mother was crazy when she told him he could quit the sax...if he started playing the drums.  From there until college, it was marching band, and then concert, jazz, polka, symphonic bands...it didn’t matter what kind of band it was, he wanted in. When he got to Bloomsburg for college, he quickly jumped ship from business school to their new bachelor's program for audio recording. That lead to an internship and job at SI Studio in Scranton doing everything from engineering and producing to cleaning toilets and making coffee (hey...it's all important) as well as drumming on multiple recordings. While at SI Studio, Chris also worked at the legendary Dave Phillips Music and Sound in Phillipsburg NJ and immersed himself in the Lehigh Valley music scene. In 2004 he landed a gig with the Reggae master George Wesley, and spent 12 years playing hundreds of shows across the country with him and absorbing his wisdom, until George’s untimely passing from cancer. He considers himself lucky to have worked with the finest musicians, songwriters, and artists from all over the industry, which continues with his new company CRC Audio. When he's not in the nest with the Bad Eggs, he handles drum duties for The Agitators and Young Lion among others, and is a first call emergency drummer for bands in need.
